Haugalandet leverer til Vill Vill Vest 2024 en skitten og drøy debut fra Hounding, et band med en fot i kraut, en i postpunk, og to møkkete poter som har bevitner et grovt stykke live erfaring. I en tidvis altfor blankpolert verden er Hounding sitt stinkende glefs av en lyd for et friskt pust å regne. Tekstene er sære og kryptiske, musikken er paranoid og frenetisk. Alt i alt, en musikalsk akkumulering av Haugesunds ærlige og aktuelle rolle som den rebelske lillebror på vestkysten.  

Bandet består av medlemmer fra alt fra Sundrowned til Bo Milli og Undergrunnen. Etter lang tid i hverandres kretser oppstod dette beistet av et band, med et mål om å lage verdens beste soundtrack til verdens verste urettferdigheter og særheter.

The city of Haugesund is delivering us a dirty and daring debut at Vill Vill Vest 2024 in the form of Hounding, a band with one foot in kraut, one in postpunk, and two dirt-digging paws that bear witness to a rough patch of live experience. In a sometimes all too polished world, the stinking crunch of Hounding becomes a fresh breath of air. The lyrics are wacky and cryptic, the music is paranoid and frenetic. Its all a musical accumulation of Haugesund’s honest and relevant role as the rebellious little brother of the Norwegian West Coast.

The band consists of members from everything from Sundrowned to Bo Milli and Undergrunnen. After years spent in each other’s circles this beastly band was formed. Their goal is to make the greatest soundtrack to all the worst injustices and oddities of the world.
