Shiner spiller elektronisk punke-hiphop med ekstremt energinivå og idiotiske musikalske ambisjoner. Med kun 5 utgitte låter og en håndfull konserter under beltet har bandet allerede fått høy verdi på ryktebørsen, spesielt etter to heseblesende konserter på by:Larm 2023. Disse ble omtalt som noen av festivalens beste konserter av både NRK P3 og Natt & Dag. Vi ble like lamslått og så ikke noe annet valg enn å invitere Axel, Ola og Karl over til Vill Vill Vest for å gi Bergenspublikumet litt god gammaldags sjokkterapi.

Shiner består av medlemmer fra kredible band som Pom Poko, Combos og Instant K, og ga ut deres selvproduserte debut-EP “The Screen Remains My Favorite” tidligere i år. Skiven er gitt ut på deres eget plateselskap Dagen er ødelagt, som også har gitt ut de første låtene til Pachinko, en av våre favoritter fra fjorårets festival.

Shiner delivers electronic punked-up hiphop with an extreme energy output and idiotic musical ambitions. With only 5 released songs and a handful of concerts under their belt the band has already accrued lots of high-level praise around the country, especially following their two harrowing concerts at last year’s by:Larm festival. These were described as some of the festival’s very best by the national radio channel NRK P3 and the magazine Natt & Dag. We were also in attendance and can confirm their statements. Alas we saw no option but to invite Axel, Ola & Karl over to Vill Vill Vest to give the Bergen audience some good old fashioned shock treatment.

Shiner consists of members from credible bands like Pom Poko, Combos and Instant K, and released their self-produced debut EP “The Screen Remains My Favorite” earlier this spring.
