Bergensbandet SPLIT//BITE er relativt ferskt, men medlemmene er rutinerte musikere kjent fra blant annet Rugrats, Sverm og Utflod. Med tydelige nikk til New York-scenen spiller SPLIT//BITE harselerende og ankelbitende hardcore som vil riste deg langt inn i margen. Deres første EP «404 Ends» ble utgitt på Loyal Blood Records, et kvalitetsstempel i seg selv. Bandet har delt scene med Employed To Serve på Vaterland i Oslo, samt spilt support for deathpop-bandet Blood Command på deres siste turné.

SPLIT//BITE sin musikk har blitt godt mottatt av musikkblogger og magasiner, både nasjonale og internasjonale. Metal Noise skriver at bandet sannsynligvis gjør moshpits om til blodbad og Scream Blast Repeat mente at musikken deres manipulerer kroppen til å bryte med hjernens instinkter. Bergen four piece SPLIT//BITE is a relatively fresh project, lined with seasoned musicians from projects like Rugrats, Sverm and Utflod. With clear inspirations from NYC SPLIT//BITE plays harassing, anklebiting hardcore that will shake you to the bone.
